In December 2025, Tim Bicknell, President of Dublin Business School, visited NUFE and held discussions with President Cheng Yongbo on the joint establishment of a Chinese-foreign cooperatively-run institution.

In June 2025, NUFE delegation led by Professor Cheng Yongbo, President of NUFE, visited Dublin Business School in Ireland and signed an agreement with Tim Bicknell, President of Dublin Business School, on a joint undergraduate dual-degree programme.
我校获教育部批准，设立南京财经大学都柏林学院，并于当年开始招生。
In May 2026, NUFE received approval from the Ministry of Education to establish the Dublin Institute at NUFE, and commenced enrolment in the same year.
